In December 2017, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. At 47, I was determined not to give up. I immersed myself in research, seeking every possible way to heal. I transformed my lifestyle, embracing a ketogenic diet, incorporating mindfulness and energy healing, and making my home a toxic-free environment. By August 2021, I received the incredible news: I was cancer-free.
This journey ignited a passion in me to help others heal. I believe in a balanced approach to healing, where intelligent medicine and healthy lifestyle practices work hand in hand. It's crucial for those with chronic diseases to stay open-minded, well-informed, and surrounded by a supportive team of practitioners. This means finding the best conventional doctors for your condition and partnering with holistic, functional medicine practitioners who can guide you in caring for your entire system.
The human body is a remarkable machine, designed to heal itself when given the right nutrients and care. Despite what conventional medicine might tell you, healing is possible.

Introducing Courtney, a dedicated foodie, Dietitian, Exercise Scientist, and lover of all things sport and fitness. As the founder of Biofueled and based on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Courtney believes in the transformative power of nutrition and exercise. She is committed to empowering her clients to become the best versions of themselves through personalized, evidence-based strategies that address their physical, mental, and emotional needs.
What sets Courtney's approach apart is her unwavering focus on sustainable, long-term results. Rather than quick fixes or fad diets, she works closely with her clients to develop customized meal plans, exercise programs, and lifestyle habits that become second nature. She understands that true transformation takes time and dedication, which is why she provides ongoing support, accountability, and guidance to ensure her clients stay on track and achieve their goals.
Courtney's qualifications include a Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Exercise Science and Human Nutrition, and certifications from the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association as a Level 2 Associate and personal trainer with a Cert III in Fitness. She has extensive experience working with athletes, serving as a sports dietitian for the Gold Coast Suns Football Club, a sports scientist for the Brumbies Rugby Union, and a strength and conditioning coach at the Queensland Firebirds. Additionally, Courtney has five years of personal training and nutrition coaching experience, running her online business via a mobile app.
